A place reminder did not arrive

Open More → Delivery report. It says whether the system is monitoring anything, whether location is set to Always, and what the last boundary crossings actually did. An empty report after a trip means the phone never woke the app, which is usually battery optimisation.

Android is not waking the app

Android stops waking apps it decides are idle, which is exactly what a location reminder looks like. Setting Kretsa to Unrestricted under battery settings is the single biggest thing that helps; there is a button for it in the delivery report.

A reminder never fires at a small radius

A phone's position fix can be less accurate than a 100 m circle, so the crossing is never confidently detected. 250 m is far more reliable.

An invite link opened the browser instead of the app

That means the phone has not yet associated kretsa.app with the installed app — it checks once at install time. Reinstalling fixes it. Meanwhile the page shows the invite code, which you can enter under More → Join a list.

Deleting your data

Everything Kretsa learns lives on the phone. Uninstalling removes it. More → Settings → Forget what I've learned clears it without uninstalling. For shared lists there is an account behind the scenes — deleting your account and data covers that, including how to ask if you have already uninstalled.
